Sophie & James

Tags: ,

On a beautiful sunny day last may we headed to Hampton to meet Sophie at her Mum and Dads house. We walked in to find everyone enjoying a very civilised brakfast, the atmosphere was so calm and relaxed. We got on with photographing the details and preparations and apart from a slight wardrobe issue which led to an informative you tube video to help Sophie's dad tie his cravate everything remained very chilled!

We made our way to Denbies Wine Estate to meet the boys and wait for the guests and Bride to arrive. After the ceremony we were lucky enough to catch the Vineyard train right to the very top of Denbies to take some lovely family photos and romantic photos of the happy couple. Wow, what a fantastic view! We stopped half way down for some essential photographs in the Vines and then headed back to the guests.

After photographing the speeches in the Wine Cellar the guests went back up to the Garden room for the wedding breakfast and were treated to a very entertaining Reggae band in the evening.

Thanks Sophie and James for a lovely relaxed day!

Claire and Paul

Tags: , ,

Claire and Paul were married at Botleys mansion in Surrey, a beautiful relatively new venue and it was our first time there. So, naturally, we were very excited and the venue offers so many possibilities for photographs inside and out we were spoilt for choice.

We started with Claire and her bridesmaids as they got ready (very calmly) in the fantastic bridal suite and met Paul and his groomsmen just before the ceremony downstairs.

Paul is an accomplished pianist and the grand piano in the entrance hall was just waiting to be played by him. So he played for all the guests on arrival. The make of the piano being a Steiner suited him too as it was his surname and soon to be Claire's!

The rain threatened after the ceremony and for May it was a bit chilly, but we all braved it and did some group photos outside and incorporated the magnificent front stone staircase into a large group shot with confetti.

The wedding breakfast was held in the stunning conservatory and we stayed for some photos of the first dance before slipping away and leaving the party in full swing.
